Dr. Katharina Graw-Panzer, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Pediatric Pulmonologist at NewYorkPresbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital. She serves as Director of the Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program at the NewYorkPresbyterian/Weill Cornell campus. Dr. Graw-Panzer also directs the Pediatric Sleep Center at both Komansky Children’s Hospital at Weill Cornell Medicine and Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Columbia University.Dr. Graw-Panzer received her medical degree from the University of Hamburg in Germany. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is boardcertified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine.Her clinical interests include the evaluation and management of pediatric sleep, breathing, and hypersomnia disorders; comprehensive airway and respiratory assessment in children with complex medical and aerodigestive conditions; and the care of children who require longterm ventilatory support in the home setting.Dr. Graw-Panzer’s research experience includes investigations into the effects of obstructive sleep apnea on learning and memory in children, sleep disorders in children with rare genetic conditions, and airway evaluation in pediatric patients presenting with complex aerodigestive symptoms.
