Leona Parks is a dedicated and accomplished social worker with over five years of experience across clinical, programmatic, and consulting roles. She has built her career on providing evidence-based mental health interventions to children, adolescents and adults and mentoring social work professionals. Leona Parks received her Bachelor of Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (B.S.) and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Leona is pursuing her DSW to further her commitment to advancing the social work profession and fostering meaningful change in individuals and communities. Leona’s clinical expertise includes working with adolescents, adults, and families to address a wide range of behavioral and mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. She is proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
