Saikat Goswami, M.B.B.S.

Description

Dr. Saikat Goswami is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital - Brooklyn. His clinical interests include sickle cell disease, benign hematology, blood disorders and cancer. Dr Goswami is a board-certified pediatrician.

Dr Goswami earned his medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York, and pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York. His research has focused on alloimmunization in children with sickle cell disease, with an emphasis on improving transfusion safety and long-term outcomes.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Goswami enjoys traveling, playing cricket, and spending time with his dog.
