General Practice Medicine Brooklyn
Dr. Debella is a native of New York’s Hudson Valley region. He attended Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated with university honors and earned a degree in Public Health Studies. Before entering medical school at Brown University, he worked in HIV/STI prevention at a nonprofit organization. He returned to New York to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, and he is delighted to continue his career as a primary care physician with Cornell.He has particular clinical interests in HIV medicine, HIV/STI prevention, LGBTQ+ health, and travel medicine/global health. In his spare time, he enjoys discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, exploring New York City’s cultural enclaves, and caring for his houseplants and aquarium fish.
