Dr. Botero completed her undergraduate studies in Microbiology at theUniversity of Rochester, where she volunteered her time serving underservedcommunities. These experiences ultimately inspired her to pursue a career inmedicine. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School ofMedicine in Grenada, where she developed a strong foundation in clinicalmedicine and a passion for caring for patients from diverse cultures andcommunities. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency at NewYork-PresbyterianBrooklyn Methodist Hospital where she gained broad experience caring forpatients with a wide range of medical conditions and backgrounds.
